Using Publisher Step Open Publisher, click the 'File' tab and select 'Change Template.' Click the 'Home' link, which brings up Publisher's most common quick templates. Click once on the 'Fliers' link. Scroll through the available flier templates and double-click one. If the 'Change Template' box pops up, click 'Apply template to the current publication' and click 'OK.' After a few moments, the flier appears in the Publisher workspace. Step Click into the placeholder headline on the flier. Type your words directly in the box over the original ones, such as 'Chance to Win a New Motorcycle!' Click into the other boxes on the flier and type over the text with information on ticket prices and deals (such as 6 tickets for $5), how and where to buy tickets, when the drawing will be held and any other event details. Step Click the 'Insert' tab and click the 'Clip Art' button. Type a word or phrase into the 'Search for' box that goes with the item being raffled off, such as 'motorcycle,' 'tropical island' or 'cake.' Click 'Go,' scroll through the images and double-click one to add it to the flier. Another option is to search for 'tickets' or 'raffle.' If you have a photo of the item being raffled, click the 'Insert' tab, click 'Picture,' browse to the item on your computer and double-click the file name, which adds the picture to the flier. Step Click the 'Page' design tab at the top of the screen. Scroll through the blocks of color and double-click one to recolor the flier. Experiment with the color options until you get one that goes with your cause or organization, or simply choose colors you think will capture your audience's attention. Step Click the 'File' tab and select 'Save As.' Type a name for the flier and save it to your computer. Using Photoshop Step Open Photoshop, pull down the 'File' menu and click 'New.' Name the file 'RaffleFlyer' and set its dimensions as 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Click the 'White' button under the 'Contents' menu and click the 'OK' button to open the Photoshop workspace. Step Click 'File' again and select 'Open.' Browse to a digital photo of the item being raffled or a picture of a coil of tickets.
